First let me tell you you are the most succinct person so far, and that includes me.

1. Very like #3 (and I like 3 better), but I do like the word 'shift'. If you could combine this and 3, you'd be great.

2. This would be great to read. You're basically calling everyone dumb.

3. Very good. You could easily find info to back this up.

Your topic shold make for an interesting paper. It fits what we have been doing in class. Your first thesis would make for a great paper if you could get more specific. It would help to expand on the idea of entertainer so that your paper can be more narrow. Maybe you can define media entertainment as as a smaller subject such as reality tv or something similar.

I disagree with number two. I think that the problem with the media is that it underestimated the intelligence and attention span of its consumers, but it's not my paper. just thought I'd throw it out there.

I like the general idea of discussing whether or not we have experienced a paradigm shift in the media within the last few years. I feel like you would have trouble proving a lot of these points, though.

It seems like it would be a tough paper to write, but you have a really interesting topic, which is a good start.
